A night of elevation
Each year, the Phoenix end-of-season awards night takes the everyday club brand and dresses it up. The goal is always the same in making it feel luxury and premium, the way a professional sports club marking its season should.
That started with the trophies and medals, giving them a shape and finish that felt like an extension of the club rather than a generic award. The on-screen elements changed year to year, alternating between a fully animated deck and a static one, both presented by longtime NZ commentator Jason Pine. The room followed the same thinking, moving between a full floor plan and a branded seating list depending on the year, but always tying back to the same look.
